Wal-Mart is now selling the Apple iPhone 5C for $45, undercutting similar deals at Best Buy and Radio Shack. The promotion is good through the holiday season.
Best Buy's $50 iPhone deal expired Monday. Radio Shack moved to match that deal through Nov. 2, offering customers a $50 gift card with purchase.
The discount is half off the suggested $99 retail for the colorful plastic iPhone 5C, released in September. It is available on two-year upgrades of new contracts with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.
Wal-Mart and other retailers also offer a trade-in program, paying up to $300 for older iPhone models.
